We provide Human Translations - not machine translations. We consider machines and technology to be an incredible aid to the science of translating, still there is not a machine developed yet that can convert the true meaning of a phrase from one language to another. This is due to the human factor within languages.

Most government agencies also will not accept machine translations as true translations due to the inherent problems within them. Certainly no business would want such mechanical translations representing their product.

Document Types

HCD Translation Services accepts most forms of documents to be translated, excepting those seen to be morally objectionable.

If the document is meant for government submission we will save a copy of the original document for our archives. If desired, we can format the translation to the original so as to provide a similar appearance. Measurement conversions, along with currency conversions, can also be provided.

Photographs may be replicated along with the documents, provided they are in a standard image format (*.jpg, *.gif, *.png), as an additional service. Using professional Stylus photo replicators, the translated document can have seamless integration with any images desired.

Certification

We only use Translators that are members of the American Translators Association (A.T.A.), or other recognized translators associations that uphold internationally recognized standards in the translation industry. Our translations carry this stamp of certification, and are accepted by the USCIS (formerly known as the INS) and State Department, as well as virtually all other international government agencies worldwide, as high quality translations meeting all of their requirements.
